We practice estate, trust, and conservatorship administration and litigation. We are seeking a litigation paralegal with 3+ years experience in conservatorship, trusts and estates law.

We foster a collaborative working environment with over ten attorneys and plenty of knowledgeable support staff. As a litigation paralegal you will work directly with attorneys to help manage their caseload and contribute as a team member to ensure clients receive the best representation possible.

Our ideal candidate must have experience in the following:

Familiar with conservatorship procedures and able to prepare forms and legal documents involved from the beginning to the end;
Familiar with estate procedures and able to prepare forms and legal documents involved from the beginning to the end;
Assisting attorneys with all trust matters;
Familiar with civil discovery procedures and deadlines;
Gathering and inventorying assets;
Preparing letters to clients, opposing counsels, and other attorneys or parties involved;
Preparing estate planning documents;
Preparing an accounting for probate cases;
Calendaring hearing dates and scheduling telephonic appearance;
Researching;
Checking probate notes and preparing supplements;
Assisting attorneys putting together trial binders;
Communicating with process server to have documents served in a timely manner;
Communicating with clients, opposing counsels, and other attorneys or parties involved;
Propound and respond to form and special interrogatories, requests for documents, and requests for admission;
Subpoena records from third parties and witnesses to appear at trial;
Prepare Notice of Deposition;
Summarize discovery;
Ability to work with deposition officer relating to deposition subpoena for business records.

The firm matches employee Simple IRA contributions up to 3% of their salary. Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
