Matthew began his legal career at a prestigious downtown Los Angeles law firm after being admitted to practice in California. Throughout his career, he has handled a broad range of matters spanning both advisory work and litigation, including:

  • Elder law-related disputes and claims
  • General tort liability

His litigation experience includes matters involving: contract disputes, employment issues, personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance, commercial disputes, real estate, premises liability, construction, family law, financial elder abuse, probate disputes, and trust-related litigation.

After establishing his own private practice, Matthew continued to expand his work to meet the evolving needs of long-standing clients. As many clients moved into later stages of life, his practice increasingly addressed complex issues involving elder abuse claims, estate planning, special needs trusts, probate administration, and trust litigation, providing tailored representation for clients and their families.

Community Involvement & Personal Life

Matthew is committed to community service and is a founding member of the Los Angeles County Children’s Rights Committee. He has also served as a mentor through the former California Youth Authority, supporting efforts focused on preventing recidivism among juvenile offenders. In addition, he is trained and certified as a Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) responder for local or regional disasters.

Matthew lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
