Dorothy has an extensive background in estate planning, family law, bankruptcy, and complex civil litigation. She brings the breadth of her experiences to her present practice, which focuses on trust and probate litigation, and beneficiary representation. As a law student, Dorothy clerked for The Honorable Ellen Carroll, United States Bankruptcy Court Central District, and completed an externship in the Orange County Superior Court Family Law Facilitator's Office. It was here, assisting Pro Se litigants, that she discovered her passion for working closely with people to ensure they have a clear understanding of the often intimidating and seemingly illogical legal system. Dorothy’s ability to be direct and see the big picture has contributed to her success as a strong advocate for her clients.
Prior to joining the Legacy Lawyers, Dorothy had a boutique estate planning practice and gave pro bono estate planning seminars to the community. When she is not at the office you will find her paddling out at her local surf break or hitting the slopes with her husband and two teenagers.
